Fees & Payment

My fee for individual, couple and family psychotherapy is $150.00 for a 50-minute session and $275.00 for a100-minute session. This rate is consistent with the rates recommended by the B.C. Psychological Association. I offer a sliding fee scale dependant on availability. Rates for psychotherapy groups range from $50.00 to $65.00 depending on group size.

I accept payment for services by cash or cheque. Unless prior arrangements are made, payment is requested at the end of each appointment. Although MSP does not cover psychological treatment, some individuals have funding for psychological services through their extended health care benefits. Policies should be consulted directly, as they vary regarding the amount of coverage provided.

Funding for my services is available through Employee Assistance Programs (e.g. Shepell fgi & Wilson Banwell) and Criminal Injury Compensation Programs. I am also registered to provide therapy services to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) members.

As a courtesy to other patients and myself, cancellation must be done at least 48 hours before a scheduled appointment otherwise the rate for the full session will be charged.
